About Union Square Neighbors

The top priority of Union Square Neighbors (USN) is to work with our neighbors in the community and the City of Somerville on zoning proposals and other planning initiatives that would fit with the current scale and historic character of the streetscape in Union Square. We support maintaining the square's neighborhood feel while also actively promoting economic development to expand Somerville's commercial tax base. We want to work together to ensure that the future Union Square works for businesses, artists, neighbors, and Somerville as a whole.
